IDP Outreach - August 2024

IDP Outreach - August 2024

Launched August 2024, we walked into our first project at an IDP camp in Abuja with a simple mission: to show up. What we found was a community of women and children radiating resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship.

We provided food, supplies, and essential care for over 1,000 women and children. But more importantly, we listened. We heard their stories, their dreams, and their unwavering hope.

Lagos Food Outreach

Lagos Food Outreach

In September 2024, we went on the streets of Lagos to hand out food to the children and women in underserved neighborhoods.

We provided a home cooked meal to 120 people on the streets. Sometimes all you need is food, a listening ear and a smile.

Domestic Violence Victim

Domestic Violence Victim

In October 2024, we raised 3.5 million to help a domestic violence victim escape from her abusive husband, we helped with relocation costs, a house, legal fees for protection and divorce, school fees for her 3 children and money to start her business.

She is now successfully running her events business and is doing well mentally, the kids are enjoying school and are no longer traumatized.

Her Testimonial

“Thank you so much Create Her Future Initiative for allowing me to remain anonymous and sharing my story. From being suicidal and feeling my soul leaving my body everytime my husband laid his hands on me to now having a safe home for me and my kids and starting my events business due to your generous support, my life has undergone a complete 360. May God bless you”

Ushafa Village Outreach

Ushafa Village Outreach

On September 3rd 2025, our team visited the Ushafa Pottery women, mothers who walk miles to gather clay and firewood, then mold it into pots that put food on the table and pay school fees. But we also saw their struggles; Raw materials are scarce. Their children need books, sandals, and school fees. Middlemen restrict their voices and visibility. Still, they rise every day, carrying generations of tradition in their hands.
